In order to increase the operation life of the plasma torch, new constructive solutions for the formation of the arc discharge channel have been implemented, taking into account the peculiarities of formation of the cathode discharge spots under conditions of its channel stabilization. The work also ends with the production of prototype samples of the feedstock feed into the reactor module through its side wall and the hydropneumatic steam supply system into the plasma torch. The results of pilot tests indicate that the newly formed units can be used on a permanent basis as part of a pilot plant for the conversion of carbon-containing materials focused on the processing of hazardous waste.
