The purpose of the work is to develop a prototype wind turbine unit with a vertical axis of rotation of the combined rotor and to evaluate the efficiency for the use of low wind energy. Research Method - Theory of Differential Equations in Partial Derivatives, Methods of Computational Mathematics, Theory of Multicriteria Optimization The final report summarizes the following research findings: • the concept of a synergistic principle for the construction of wind turbines designed for weak winds, which simultaneously improves the energy efficiency of wind turbines in high winds and at the same time ensures the operation of wind turbines; - method of decomposition of the problem of computer-aided design of wind turbines; - method of integration of rotors of different types and sizes in the design of the combined rotor; - the method of synthesis of the aerodynamic model by numerically solving Navier-Stokes differential equations for combined rotors; - a method of multicriteria optimization based on a hybrid evolutionary algorithm to determine the design and geometric parameters; - method of analyzing the occurrence of flutter in rotors with vertical axis of rotation; - hybrid multicriteria optimization algorithm; - algorithm for optimization of the rotor parameters, including its power elements (for example, the parameters of the spars according to the criterion of minimum mass, provided the required strength in a wide range of wind speed; - algorithm for determining the optimum angles of attack of the blades for the element of the combined rotor - Darye rotor, in the case of stationary attachment of the blades to the axis of rotation by means of traverses; - algorithmic support of the measuring complex; - prototype wind turbine with combined rotor; - measuring complex for determining the parameters of physical models of combined rotors during their tests in the wind tunnel.
