When performing this work by methods of scanning electron microscopy with local analysis of chemical composition, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray structural analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, the effect of heat treatment on the dimensional characteristics and phase composition of iron nanoparticles was investigated. The dynamics of sorption and phase transformations of single- and two-phase iron nanoparticles were also studied by thermogravimetric analysis when heated in air to 650°C. In recent years at the E. O. Paton Electric Welding Institute of NAS of Ukraine has conducted preliminary studies on the production of metal nanoparticles. The idea of the simultaneous evaporation of two substances, one of which is metal and the other is an inorganic material that dissolves in a liquid, made it possible to preserve the nanoparticles and retain their dimension for a long time. However, when developing new drugs and delivering them to cancer, medicine requires new nanostructured materials based on iron nanoparticles. Therefore, the synthesis of new materials requires the study of a wide range of their characteristics and properties. The effect of isothermal heat treatment modes on the crystallite size and phase composition of iron nanoparticles was studied as a result of the study of the dynamics of sorption and phase transformations of single- and two-phase iron nanoparticles by thermogravimetric analysis when heated to 650°C.
