In addition, the traditional equipment has been used for the assessment of fracture resistance and modelling of operating conditions – a range of machines for friction testing under one-way and reversing schemes, as well as devices for thermoelectric control of the properties and the composition of the metal surface using galvanically resolved ADC for data transfer to PC. Results and their novelty. The scientific research work belongs to basic research and may be relevant for several related fields of science in its results (materials science, tribology, machine-building technology, physical and chemical mechanics of materials, chemical resistance of materials). For the first time the physic-chemical bases of increase of working capacity of a new class of materials – vanadium and alloys based on it (including low-activated ones) and its analogues in high-temperature aggressive environment, some of which relate to perspective coolants in nuclear and thermonuclear energy, alloying and thermo-diffusion oxidation. The strength values of some vanadium alloys have been increased 2-fold, compared to their predecessors, after the optimization of the modes and the use of thermo-diffusion oxidation. The data obtained concerning the effect of metallic alloys on the properties of vanadium, its analogues and alloys are new and can be used in theory and in practice. New knowledge about the features of the wearing process of vanadium and its alloys and analogues has been obtained and new quantitative data, analytical dependencies and practical recommendations have been received to minimize Product Description popup.authors Vasuliv Khrystyna B.
