The legislation on inventory of lands, in particular agricultural lands, as well as changes in the structure of lands and the legal status of lands, which have arisen as a result of legal uncertainty of land use boundaries of state institutions and enterprises of NAAS, are analyzed. The main problems that arise and can arise in the absence of a developed industry standard of land inventory of state institutions and enterprises of NAAS are shown. Proposals on the structure, content and composition of the industry standard of land inventory of state institutions and enterprises of NAAS are proposed. The structure, content and composition of the industry standard for the land inventory of state institutions and enterprises of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine were developed on the basis of the results of the performed research. The effect of their implementation will be reflected in the development of industry standard, land inventory, increase the efficiency of land use and operational management of state institutions and enterprises of NAAS.
