In the current situation of complex and multifactorial anthropogenic impact, which leads to interrelated environmental problems in complex natural-anthropogenic systems, it is urgent to improve the existing regulatory and methodological support for making management decisions in the field of environmental protection, as well as for inform the public about environmental security aspects. The object of study is a system of regulatory and methodological support in the field of environmental safety (hazard) assessment of environmental components and economic objects. The subject of the study is the methodological aspects of assessing the level of ecological safety (danger) of the territories and the actions of the factors that form this level, as well as algorithms for constructing integrated and generalized assessments. The purpose of the work is to develop a mechanism for a unified assessment of the level of ecological safety of the territories and the negative impact of the objects on the environment.
