The subject of the study is the assessment of the possibility of improving the system of pollutants inventory by taking into account in the statistical reporting the results of studies of laboratory-instrumental measurements at the locations of MSW landfills and methodological guidelines for their inspection. Analytical review of international methods of modeling of landfill gas generation and determination of its components has been performed. A mathematical model for the evolution of biogas over a landfill of municipal solid waste has been developed. In-situ (laboratory-instrumental) studies of pollutant emissions into the atmospheric air from the Rogan landfill have been conducted. The program of survey of landfills and landfills for landfill and waste disposal and methodological guidelines for the calculation of emissions of major pollutants (CH4, CO2, NH3, N2O, H2S) into the atmospheric air have been developed. The MSW landfill survey program and guidelines are intended for use in the annual inventory of CL emissions into the air, the calculation of the emissions of CL into the atmosphere for landfills and MSW, the development of draft standards and the approval of landfill emissions, the evaluation of landfills PV in the project documentation for the construction of new and expansion of existing facilities. They can be used by businesses that own landfill sites. Valid methodical guidelines apply to the main types of pollutants formed on landfills as a result of the anaerobic biothermal decomposition of an organic MSW component, and which are released from the landfill surface into atmospheric air in any region of Ukraine, taking into account specific factors of deposition areas . In addition, methodological guidance can be used for the purpose of public accounting and regulation of greenhouse gas emissions in Ukraine.
