The first is to search for high-performance geometries of collinear acousto-optical (AO) interaction based on anisotropy analysis of the AO quality coefficient (M2). The second problem concerns the detection and investigation of the entanglement of quantum states of photons in collinear AO interaction and spin-orbital transformation in optically active crystals. On the example of AgGaS2 gyrotropic crystals, a phenomenological analysis of AO diffraction of proper circularly polarized optical waves (CPOW) was performed. It was shown that AO interactions between proper circularly polarized optical waves are possible when the degeneracy for the velocities of linearly polarized optical waves in crystals is removed, that is only circular birefringence exist. It was established that, under certain geometries and subject to the phase synchronism condition, both isotropic and anisotropic, in particular collinear, AO diffractions are possible. On the basis of obtained relations for the effective elastic-optical coefficients (EOC) and all experimentally determined EOC of AgGaS2 crystals, the M2 coefficients were estimated for all types of AO interaction between CPOW at the wavelength of isotropic point and M2 anisotropy was investigated. It was established that the M2 anisotropy for the case of collinear AO diffraction of CPOW is caused by the anisotropy of the effective EOC, and the most effective geometries of such interaction are determined. On the base of the experimentally determined main piezo-optical coefficients of gyrotropic Pb5Ge3O11 crystals, the EOC were calculated and the M2 coefficient was estimated for the AO interaction with quasi-longitudinal acoustic waves propagating close to the main crystallophysical axes. It was established that the maximum value of M2 is achieved when the acoustic wave propagates along Z axis and is commensurate with M2 of other known AO materials.
