The methods are based on refined models of glazing and impulse loading taking into account the features of the collision process of birds with glazing elements, the generalized theory of multilayer plates and shells and the equations of three-dimensional elastodynamics taking into account attenuation according to the Kelvin-Voigt model. The geometric, physical and mechanical characteristics of the bird, bullet and each of the layers of the package are taken into account. The calculation and evaluation of bullet resistance and bird resistance of the existing glazing compositions are carried out and the directions of its modification are determined. The results of research work are used in the design of glazing elements at LLC “Spetstekhsklo A” and Antonov State Enterprise.
