Purpose - To create and comprehensively study novel polymers capable of responding to external stimuli as well as hybrid nanocomposites based on them. Development of fundamental principles of predicted control of photo-electro-, optical, luminescent properties and biological activity of nanocomposites. Research methods - gel permeation chromatography, IR spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, UV spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering, holographic interferometry, NMR spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetric analysis. It has been shown that polymers capable of responding to an external challenge, namely the branched pH-sensitive and thermosensitive copolymers of Dextran-Polyacrylamide (in anionic form) and Dextran-Poly-N-isopropidacrylamide, are promising polymeric nanoparticles. These polymers have been shown to be able to form complexes with the antitumor drugs Cisplatin and Doxorubicin, the Chlorin E6 photosensitizer. Nanosystems - nanoparticles of gold and silver in a polymer matrix have been synthesized and investigated. A series of photosensitive model compounds with styrylquinoline moieties have been synthesized and investigated. The corresponding methacrylic monomers, homo- and copolymers, nanosystems containing zinc oxide nanoparticles were obtained to create the latest materials for recording and storing information. The kinetics of radical thermoinitiated polymerization of the synthesized monomers were investigated and new styrylquinoline-containing polymers were obtained.  Product Description popup.authors Yeshchenko Oleh A.
