ІЛЛІЧА». The purpose of the study is to determine the traces of corrosion in the original sheet galvanized rolled steel production of «ММК ІМ. ІЛЛІЧА» and establishment causes of corrosion of the bent profiles of production of PE «DANVIS» made from this raw material. The following research methods and apparatus were used in the work: analysis of variance, mathematical statistics, comparison method and the NOVOTEST TP-1 instrument. The practical result of the study was the establishment of a complex cause that caused the corrosion of the bent profiles, namely the insufficient preparation of the surface of steel coils before the galvanizing process, the presence of residues of iron oxides under the zinc coating profiles, the absence of zinc passivation on the outer surface of the headquarters and profiles and the presence of chlorides and the presence of chlorides on the outer surface of the profiles.
