That is, it is assumed that the lifting of the solid material is carried out by liquid plugs that move in the intervals between the projectiles. In this model, the average true concentrations of solid and liquid phases in a three-phase flow are expressed, in particular, by the concentration of compressed air and the predetermined bulk concentration of the solid material in the pulp. The average true velocities of the liquid and solid phases are related, in particular, to the volume and flow rates and the volumetric flow rate, while the average true velocity of the gas phase is related to the volumetric flow rates of compressed air and pulp.
