The object of research is the plate and shell structural components of aeronautical engineering from CM. The purpose of research is to develop a model of the limiting state of plate and shell structural elements from CM under static and impact loading. Theoretical and analytical methods of physical process research, numerical analysis, mathematical and computer simulation methods using modern software systems based on the finite element method Cosmos SolidWorks, ANSYS and Simulink were used. Experimental specimens and composite elements were fabricated by thermal vacuum molding, vacuum infusion and the RTM closed-loop injection technique, using vacuum pumps, a vacuum chamber, and a designed hot molding press. Experimental studies of the characteristics of CM and structural elements were carried out on FP-10, P-10, and CDMU-30 test machines using an information-measuring complex and strain gauges, and the data were processed in Microsoft Excel. The technologies of manufacturing the specimens from CM and the methods of determining the complex of physical properties of the material required for modeling of its limiting state are developed. The technology is introduced into the educational process in the form of technological instructions for forming, assembling and quality control of composite parts by thermal vacuum method. A technique for determining the degradation of the mechanical characteristics of CM and structures from them under the influence of various operational factors is developed, which is ready for implementation. A method for calculating the limiting state of structural elements of composites at impact loading is developed, based on the calculation of the probability of fracture and restoration of connections between structural elements of a material.
