The object of research is the processes of establishing and design, operation, aggregation and business interaction of Virtual Power Plants (VPP) and Prosumers as constituents of power supply systems (EPS) for the energy market. The purpose of the work is to develop the scientific and methodological bases, data and software design to provide aggregation of VPP and Prosumers consumers, comprising the core technological platform, and to establish the best practice of business interactions within local markets of energy in Ukraine, in conformity with the Smart Grid concept. As a result of the study, the theoretical fundamentals for the analysis of local power supply systems have been developed and generalized, which enables to apply effective methods of managing the electricity flow demand, to comply the requirements of the market model of the electrical energy in Ukraine and the capabilities of prosumers and distributed multi-agent control systems (MACS). A comprehensive assessment of the efficiency of VPP and Prosumers to comply the Smart Grid concept, their integration into the electricity system, have been presented. Models and algorithms of MACS functioning as well as algorithms for MACS interactions with power system have been formed. Unified structures for the design of advanced Smart Metering System infrastructure (also AMI) have been developed to provide best communications with intelligent power systems within the IPS of Ukraine, and the Roadmap for AMI deployment in Ukraine. A new methodology for the design of address electricity consumption management and its implementation in Ukraine has been created. To provide the monitoring of "quasi-optimal" electricity generation and consumption scheduling. Algorithms for optimization of generation and consumption electricity processes are proposed to utilize eligible technological possibilities of scheduled consumption flexible changes.
