Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description2 The aim of the work was to expand technical capabilities of technological complex for vacuum-plasma deposition of coating on processing of industrial products; creation, basing on the method of ion-photon spectrometry (IPS), a high-sensitivity device using a small-sized sample of an effective source of ion-photon emission for express analytical measurements of microelements in solid-state objects of different origin. On the basis of the miniature magnetron sputtering system (MSS), a stand was created to measure the parameters of the magnetron plasma discharge (MD) and to determine the composition of metallic impurities in the sample. The use of MSS as radiation source significantly increased efficiency of the formation of excited particles of the test substance. The software (S) was developed for recording and analyzing the radiation of the magnetized MD zone, that permitted significantly accelerate processing the data and obtaining results about the presence of metallic impurities in the material under study. Recommendations regarding the working parameters of the measuring instrument of the new generation for determining the composition of metal impurities in metal were developed.
