Objective: To study the effect of a catiazine-based pharmaceutical composition on the functional state of the liver under conditions of simulation of hepatitis of different genesis. The composition and technology of the combined dosage form of cathazine in the form of solid gelatin capsules are theoretically and experimentally substantiated.Methods of qualitative analysis and quantitative determination of pharmaceutical composition components have been developed. Models of subacute tetrachloromethane and paracetamol-induced hepatitis in male rats have been reproduced to investigate the corrective effect of a cathiazine-based pharmaceutical composition on impaired liver function and spermatogenesis. The results of the study indicate a positive effect of the pharmaceutical composition with cathazine on the functional state of the liver and the testes in terms of their pathology.
