The main factors influencing the numbers and population indices of the Chlidonias fauna of Ukraine are identified. A comparative analysis of age and seasonal changes in the morphology and histology of teeth in bats (on the example of Nyctalus noctula and Eptesicus serotinus), practical recommendations for determining the age of bats by micro- and macromorphological criteria, taking into account their accuracy. Mammalian bird studies of Antarctic fauna as bioindicators of local ecosystems have been initiated. Model areas have been allocated to investigate the effectiveness of using a number of representatives of the Carabidae family as indicators of the integrity of the natural landscapes of the above zoogeographic zones. Climate change and anthropogenic factors have been shown to influence not only the emergence and spread of new invasive species (Trachemys scripta, Harmonia axyridis), but also the spread of amphibians (red-hued, Newt and Common Burdock) in arid territories.
