The object of the study is contractual relations in the context of European integration processes in Ukraine. The purpose of the work is to develop a theoretical model of contractual regulation of private law relations, to analyze the basic theoretical provisions of private law theory through the prism of special conditions of European integration processes in Ukraine. Research methods - general scientific and special methods of scientific knowledge, in particular dialectical, comparative-legal and formal-legal methods, as well as methods of analysis and synthesis, abstraction and generalization. As a result of the research, a theoretical generalization and a new solution to the scientific problem have been made, which consists in a comprehensive study of the problems of regulation of obligations. An analysis of the phenomenon of contract in private law is given. Particular attention is paid to the latest changes in contractual regulation. The peculiarities of the contractual regime in different spheres of private-law relations are characterized. A number of proposals have been formulated to improve the current legislation and the practice of its implementation. The main results of the research work are reflected in the scientific publications Predictive assumptions about the development of the object of study - it is predicted to introduce a unified approach of the legislator to develop a mechanism for the legal regulation of contractual relations, as well as harmonization of Ukrainian legislation with EU law in view of Ukraine's accession to the WTO through the direction of the activities of government bodies that carry out rulemaking.
