Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  The profile of circulating miR-21, -155, -182, -373, -125b, -126, -199a, -200b, -205, -375, associated with the main clinical and pathological characteristics of breast cancer of different molecular subtypes was established. The connection of miRNAs levels with stage, presence of metastases in regional lymph nodes and tumor differentiation degree was determined. The relationship between circulating miRNAs expression with the sensitivity of breast cancer of different molecular subtypes to standard regimens of neoadjuvant chemotherapy and the overall and relapse-free survival rates of patients who received line I and II therapy has been established. Basing on the obtained data, we designed the innovative prognostic and predictive panels to assess the tumors’ sensitivity to neoadjuvant chemotherapy and the risk of breast cancer recurrence, which will significantly improve the treatment outcomes and breast cancer patients’ quality of life. The results were introducted into clinical practice of the Kyiv City Clinical Oncology Center and the Clinic of Personalized Design of Diagnostics and Therapy "Oncotheranostics" according to the information sheets "Method of determining the sensitivity to neoadjuvant platinum-containing polychemotherapy in patients with triple-negative cancer." / V.F.
