Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description2  R&D report: 138 pages, 47 figures, 12 tables, 188 references. Objects of the study: processes of obtaining new nanocomposite materials for endoprostheses and bone implants by hot pressing method with transmission of high-ampere electric current (electroconsolidation) and creation of calcium-phosphate, hydroxyapatite coatings on their surface. The subject of the study is nanocomposite materials based on MAX-phases and their coating with hydroxyapatite or calcium phosphate with high tribological properties and biocompatibility with bone tissue. Purpose of work: development of physico-technological bases of the method of hot pressing with current transmission (electroconsolidation) of synthetic nanosized powders based on Ti, Al, C, ZrO2, WC, SiC (fibers), etc. to produce wear-resistant materials for endoprostheses with high fracture toughness, hardness and high durability. The conducted studies aimed to improve and develop new methods for producing ultradispersed and nanostructured ceramic materials based on refractory oxides of Ti, Al, Zr, C (MAX-phases) and to develop the physico-technological basis for obtaining bio-inert calcium-phosphate coatings on surface of the investigated samples based on MAX-phases. A number of physical properties of the samples of the studied ceramic material were explored. Product Description popup.authors Bohdanov Valerii V. Boiko Yurii I. Vinnikova Olha I. Vovk Ruslan V.
