It has been found the rs1044498-polymorphism association of ENPP1 gene with the diabetic foot syndrome development: in the carriers of the minor Q-allele the risk of this pathology is 1.9 times higher than in the homozygotes of the main K-allele. The association of ENPP1 gene rs997509-polymorphism with the risk of diabetic foot syndrome has been established in the obese individuals. It has been shown that the minor T-allele increases the risk of developing this complication by 9.7 times in patients with obesity. No association was found between polymorphic loci of VEGF-A and BGLAP genes with the development of diabetic foot syndrome in the Ukrainian population. The features of regeneration of rat hind limb tissues under conditions of chronic hyperglycemia were investigated at an ultramicroscopic level. It has been found that post-traumatic recovery of skeletal muscle of rats with chronic hyperglycemia is characterized by the incomplete myogenesis, the overdeveloping of connective tissue, the disorder of the new blood vessels formation and the decreasing of the number and area of regenerating muscle fibers.
