Subject of research - Structure and physicochemical and biological properties coating of biodegradable magnesium implants obtained by plasma electrooxidation with silver and zinc oxide nanoparticles. The purpose of the work is to establish general laws formation of oxide film on the surface of magnesium alloys in order to control the resorption processes in biological media and biocompatibility of implants with the modified surface. The following tasks were defined to achieve this goal: 1. Creation of working solutions and selection of modes (voltage, current, time) of plasma electrooxidation for formation oxide films on the surface of magnesium alloys. 2. Formation of oxide film on the surface of magnesium alloys with the addition of different concentration and shapes of silver and zinc oxide nanoparticles. 3. Determination of physicochemical, corrosion, structural and optical characteristics of the implant surface obtained by different methods. 4. Determination of the adhesion degree, proliferation and metabolism of cells when cultured on implants with functionalized surface. 5. Generalization of the results of the study in terms of the possibility of creating biodegradable orthopedic implants. The data were obtained on the rate of degradation of magnesium alloys, selected solutions of electrolytes to ensure the corrosion resistance of the alloy and its further osteointegration. The experiment was made it possible to choose the optimal mode of voltage and current to create controlled parameters of the surface morphology and chemical composition of the samples. As a result of in vitro experiments, the absence of toxic effect of the anode coating on cell culture was confirmed. Product Description popup.authors Viun Oksana P. Hapchenko Andrii V.
