The purpose of the research is to establish the effect of irregular cyclic loading on the fatigue resistance of welded joints of rolled aluminum alloy 1420 and 1460 alloyed with lithium, as well as the choice of speed control system for the FSW process for joint quality management. Methods of research: mechanical methods of testing specimens for tensile; fatigue test; residual stress measurements; Rockwell metal hardness measurements; metallographic studies of welded joints, optimization methods. Results of researches: Structural peculiarities of formation of joints of aluminum alloys 1420 and 1460 of received ZTP and ADZNE were investigated; comparative analysis of the degree of softening and strength indices of the welded joints of the investigated aluminum alloy obtained by the ZTP and ADZNE; regularities of resistance of fatigue of welded joints at regular loading are established; the cyclic durability and values of boundaries of limited durability of welded joints of alloy 1420 under narrow-band load spectrum with distribution of magnitude amplitude over the normal (Gaussian) distribution law were investigated; Experimental studies of samples called 1460 aluminum alloy compounds under the influence of a narrow band random load with a close to exponential amplitude distribution.
