Research and application of parametric X-radiation of relativistic particles and miniature accelerators popup.stage_title Head Gussev Yevgen V., Registration Date 10-02-2020 Organization National Science Center "Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology" popup.description2  Correction methods of working (resonant) frequency of H-resonators for ions linear resonant accelerators with alternating-phase focusing are investigated. Three variants of devices intended for tuning the operating frequency in H-resonators for ions LINACs are proposed, their designs are developed, and the frequency tuning limits are measured. The influence of oscillation frequency deviation, excited in LINACs H-resonators on cavity electrodynamic characteristics (electric field strength distribution along the accelerating structure, quality factor and shunt resistance), as well as on parameters of accelerated beam (its energy spectrum and average energy) is investigated. It is shown that in this way it is possible to influence the parameters of the accelerated beam and to change the conditions of it matching with the next section of the accelerator. The H-resonator for the first section (1.7 MeV) of the deuterons accelerator with alternating-phase focusing has been developed, which is planned to be used in the accelerator-driver of the neutron source for neutron activation analysis (NAA). The diffracted X-ray transition radiation by a high-energy "half-bare" electron in a crystalline target is investigated. It is shown that such radiation can be used for ultra - relativistic particle beams diagnostics. Product Description popup.authors Vdovin Sergsij O. Manuilenko Oleg V.
