Methods of studies: mathematical modelling, physical experiment, X-ray diffraction phase analysis and electron microscopy of obtained coatings. The method, which allows simultaneous synthesis and deposition of Ti and W carbide phases, formed by chemical interaction between explosion products and pyrolysis products, on construction surfaces by utilization of electric explosion of metal conductors in organic gas, is developed. Increase of the value of energy, introduced to Ti and W on the stage of resistive heating, which can be realized either by changing parameters of electric circuit or by heating of conductors, insulated by dielectric varnish, promotes formation of carbides, in particular, stabilized high temperature WC and W2C phases in the composition of coatings, as well as decrease of particles mean size and smoothing the surface relief of coatings, In conditions of the same electric modes and the same geometry of conductors, the increase of weight of the coating, obtained from products of Ti explosion, is on the average 4 times higher than the increase of weight of the coating, obtained from products of W explosion, which is due not only to the difference between the values of the energy of sublimation of two mentioned metals, but also due to the relation between densities of pure metals and carbides, formed from them.
