The purpose of the project is to develop a methodological approach to assessing the potential level of the urban public transport services market. Research methods - dialectical method of cognition, fundamental analysis, retrospective analysis and method of argumentation; methods of strategic analysis, abstract-logical, comparative-statistical analysis, tabular-graphical methods, monographic, sociological and expert polls, methods of grouping and questioning, index method, inductions and deductions, theory of system analysis. The results of the research and their scientific novelty: the structure of marketing potential of market services was improved, which was supplemented by another component - ideological marketing potential, which characterizes the level of orientation of the enterprise on marketing; further developed methodological provisions for assessing the level of marketing potential for sustainable development by supplementing with a number of indicators and establishing weights using the expert method.
