The subject of research is the scientific doctrine and corporate legislation of Ukraine and the European Union. The purpose of the work is to develop scientifically grounded views, ideas, approaches to defining the basic principles of corporate law of Ukraine in the doctrine of private law, to develop a theoretical model of the adaptation of corporate legislation of Ukraine to European Union law, as well as to identify the problematic aspects of corporate relations regulation in special legislation of Ukraine and to introduce specific legislation of Ukraine proposals for its improvement in modern conditions. Research methods are general scientific and special methods of scientific knowledge, in particular dialectical, comparative-legal and formal-legal methods, as well as methods of analysis and synthesis, abstraction and generalization. As a result of the research, a theoretical generalization and a new solution to the scientific problem, which consists in a comprehensive study of the problems of regulation of corporate relations, is made. The system of corporate legislation of the individual countries of the European Union on the issues of corporate relations regulation is defined and characterized. The mechanism of legal regulation of corporate relations in Ukraine and the countries of the European Union is investigated. Theoretical problems of corporate relations in Ukraine and EU law are analyzed. The conclusions and proposals on improvement of the mechanism of legal regulation of corporate relations in the legislation of Ukraine have been formed. The main results of the research work are reflected in the scientific publications which were published. During the development of the topic, 3 bills were prepared, which were sent to the relevant committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
