The developed technology uses magnetron sputtering of niobium and tantalum with high-power pulses (HIPIMS technology). Testing of the regimes was carried out on witness samples from cannon steel and fragments of the production table of GP, Design Bureau "Artillery Armament". The physical and mechanical properties of the samples were tested on the equipment of the IM Frantsevich Institute of Materials Science of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
