Objectives - microbiological justification for the development of antimicrobial agents based on metalloporphyrins and modified amino acids. Methods - biochemical, microbiological, experimental, mathematical and statistical. The results of microbiological studies of 10 porphyrin-containing plant extracts and 52 modified amino acids revealed promising substances (MICs in the range of 3.9-31.25 ?g / ml). The cumulative effects of their different combinations were investigated. It has been shown that resistance to porphyrin-containing plant extracts in the presence of formilated amino acid derivatives develops slower than to plant extracts alone. The feasibility of new antimicrobial agents development based on the combination of Eucalyptus viminalis extract with formilated arginin is experimentally substantiated.
