The object of study is the system of accounting, analytical and control support of the activity of forestry enterprises. The purpose of the work is scientific-theoretical substantiation and development of proposals for improvement of accounting and analysis at the enterprises of forestry of Ukraine. Research methods - systematic approach to solving problems, techniques of abstract-logical method (analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, analogy and comparison), methods of modeling, factor and econometric analysis. The problems of accounting and analysis at the enterprises of the forest industry have been identified and systematized, which allows to increase the efficiency of management. Accounting and analysis techniques for forestry enterprises have been refined to improve management information support. Forest asset valuation and accounting techniques have been refined to improve performance of management. Proposals may be taken as the basis of the draft methodological recommendations for accounting at forestry enterprises. The practical value of the result is to create science-based directions for improving the accounting and analytical support of the activities of forestry enterprises, which will increase the efficiency of their activities and management at the regional and state levels.
