Decomposition of the task of automatic recognition of handwriting was carried out. Work has been done to find and study the algorithms and methods needed to develop an automated system-based pattern recognition system. For each block of handwriting recognition, the most suitable algorithms were selected and the architecture of these blocks was constructed. A development stack was selected for the computerized implementation of such a system. Each module was implemented and tested by selected means. A data set was selected for the word recognition module and a neural network training was conducted. The quality control of the model was conducted and the results of the training were analyzed.
