The results of the first stage include: elements of the methodology for assessing and ensuring the safety of critical information infrastructures; the concept and principles of managing the safety of distributed IT infrastructures that are part of smart grids for energy infrastructure; the methodological principles for assessing and ensuring the safety of CIIs, which are important to safety; methodological bases for assessing the reliability of unmanned aerial vehicle fleet groups for CIIs monitoring; cyberattack extension models for IoT intelligent office router components; a method for ensuring information safety of CIIs systems based on the implementation of quality management systems. The results of the first stage can be applied in the development of elements of information and analytical support of the CIIs protection system for assessing and ensuring the functional and information safety, as well as in improving the methodological bases for CII protection, where the methodology for assessing and ensuring the safety serves as a systematic basis. The results of the first stage form a methodology for assessing and ensuring the safety of CIIs, taking into account the factors of resource constraints, the evolution of CIIs and safety requirements (including information security), as well as providing tools for the development and implementation of information technologies and information systems to solve practical problems of security management and creation of elements for information and analytical support of the system of the national CII protection in the conditions of modern threats.
