The purpose of the work is to create technical means and methods for testing textile materials of parachute systems on the example of the research on the strength of the structures of the D-5s of the Series 2 and of the Z-5. Methods of research - experimental search of designs of devices for conducting of tests of materials on durability, working out of methods, experimental verification of materials of adaptations. The influence of different designs of devices on the results of tests on the strength of woven materials is determined. A verification of the technical solutions found on the example of the study on the strength of the power structure of the parachute Z-5. The created technical means and methods give an opportunity in the future to reliably carry out research of parachute systems on durability with the purpose of definition of final durability.
