The purpose of the study is to substantiate the methodological and practical provisions of the system of information and analytical support for the production of products and to develop recommendations for its implementation in practice to improve the profitability and competitiveness of enterprises. In the course of the research, an assessment was made of the current state, dynamics and tendencies of the enterprise development and to show its relationship with accounting support, which made it possible to justify the ways of improving the production activity of enterprises and to ensure their competitiveness; revealed the essence, methodological basis and determine the role and features of information and analytical support for the production of products in order to choose the method of its application; reasonable management requirements for the formation of information and analytical support as a single system, which has its own structure, which made it possible to reveal the object under study more deeply; the influence of the quality system on the efficiency of production is monitored, which will meet the requirements and needs of consumers; the model of formation of the analysis of production activity and ways of optimization of production are developed.
