Indicators of N / L and T / N ratios, to some extent, may reflect the intensity of changes in different parts of the immune system and systemic inflammatory reactions involved in the pathogenesis of brain tumor in a particular patient. Surgical removal of malignant brain tumors does not lead to the restoration of the concentration of cells of the immune system in the peripheral blood, indicating the need for correction of the disorders. In relapses of malignant glial tumors, a further imbalance is determined in the quantitative composition of cells of the innate and acquired immunity level in the peripheral blood. Neutrophilic leukocytes and blood platelets of patients with malignant brain tumors exhibit immunosuppressive and tumor-stimulating properties that contribute to the progression of the tumor process. The polarization of neutrophil properties and the change in blood platelet function are due to the factors released by cells of malignant glial tumors. On the model of experimental malignant glioma in vitro - cultured C6 glioma cells, multidirectional effects of released products of platelet secretion of patients with glioma depending on the degree of tumor malignancy: stimulation of mitotic activity of cells and formation of cell clusters influence of platelet factors of patients with benign astrocytoma (G2). The obtained results substantiate the use in the combined treatment of malignant tumors of the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) at high indexes of the N / L ratio and the development of new immunotherapy methods, which should be aimed at inhibiting the reactions of innate immunity and stimulation of lymphocyte production and activation of specific antitumor immune processes.
