The purpose of the work is to develop theoretical, methodological and applied foundations for the formation of regional studies of entrepreneurial skills in the conditions of decentralization of the economy. Research methods - logical generalization, synthesis, analysis and comparison, economic-statistical methods, strategic analysis, modeling, structural-functional, program-target method, graphic and cartographic methods. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is to deepen the existing, development and substantiation of new scientific and methodological approaches to the functioning of regional studies of entrepreneurial skill and formation of the mechanism of their creation. The practical significance of the results of the research is to develop scientific and applied provisions that allow to form effective mechanisms for stimulating the development of entrepreneurship in the region on the basis of the formation of regional studies of entrepreneurial skills in the conditions of decentralization of the economy.
