The paper investigates the correlation properties of signals from neutron detectors of the VVER-1000 neutron flux control apparatus and direct charge detectors in the VVR-M research assembly. The purpose of the work is to use the upgraded hardware and software complex to obtain new experimental data and to detect in noise-like signals from both neutron flux density detectors and signals from regular nuclear control systems, hidden information about the current state of fissile materials and current values ​​of controlled nuclear installation parameters. Methods of research - passive neutron radiometry, wavelet analysis of long series of experimental data, classical methods of statistical analysis are applied in the work. Results and their novelty - the hardware and software complex has been modernized, which includes the development and installation of a detection unit with two separation chambers, the use of a modern B-471 event log in the information-measuring channel (IMC). Research has experimentally determined the dead time of the measuring channel. In the course of the work, special software was developed (programs in the environment of the mathematical package SciLab, and the package for processing long rows of data in IDL.
