Purpose of the work – to develop the projects of degassing of the excavation sections 159 and 174 lavas of the C6 layer of the «Stepova» mine of the Production Structural Division of the «Pershotravenske» mine management of PJSC «DFEK Pavlogradugol». Research methods – generalization and analysis of results, methods of mat. statistics, calculations by standard methods. As a result of the work, the technical documentation for mining was analyzed. 1. The technical documentation for the development of 159 and 174 lavas of the C6 mine of the «Stepova» mine of the PSD of the «Pershotravenske» mine management PJSC «DFEK Pavlogradugol» was analyzed. The calculation of the expected methane release within the excavation site, the required degassing efficiency and the air flow for ventilation of the excavation site, the parameters and the mode of degassing of the roof of the wells, the required diameters of the gas pipeline were performed. “Measures for management of degassing systems of excavation sites 159 and 174 lavas during fires in mining” have been developed. The projects of degassing of the excavation sections 159 and 174 lavas of the C6 layer of mine in the «Stepova» mine of PSD of the «Pershotravenske» of PJSC «DFEK Pavlogradugol» were developed. Results of the implementation of the development – application of the developed recommendations made it possible to ensure gas safety during mining operations, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
