New parametric type eddy current probe have been manufactured and tested. An active high-frequency self- generator eddy current converter with frequency output is proposed and the possibility of using it to measure the thickness of carbon-fiber composites on a metal basis is shown. A new productive technique for detection of the cracks originated in the rivet area in the 2nd layer of multilayer aircraft units has been proposed and tested. It was developed the methodology for eddy current parameter optimization for eddy current inspection by an electrical conductivity measurement results. Recommendations for eddy current inspection of welded joints have been developed. Experimental and industrial verification of the developed inspection techniques at the Antonov Aircraft were carried out.
