Research methods – fishery, ichthyological, hydrochemical, hydrobiological, statistical methods. The scientific report for the stage contains hydro-ecological characteristics of the main fishery reservoirs of the Prydniprovya, assessment of the state of the natural forage at spawning grounds and the fishes feeding place; assessment of fishery potential and basic biological indicators of industrial ichthyofauna, proposals for rational fisheries management in the Zaporizhzhya (Dnipro) reservoir, recommendations for improving the productivity of reservoirs of the fishery fund of the Prydniprovya reservoirs. On the example of Pershotravenske, Pivdenne and Christophorivske reservoirs and ponds of Verkhnodniprovsk and Novomoskovsk districts, complex hydroecological studies of small reservoirs of the Prydniprovya were conducted, their fishery potential was determined. The catch volumes of river crayfish from the Zaporizhzhya (Dniprovsky) reservoir and the potential for development of the region's crayfish industry have been determined for the first time. Practical recommendations include stock calculations and volumes of fish catch limits in the Zaporizhzhya (Dnipro) reservoir for 2020. The ecologically and economically sound recommendations for the organization of the crayfish-producing enterprise for the production of river crayfish are given.
