The purpose of research is to study the morphofunctional characteristics of reproductive cells and embryos before and after cryopreservation by the vitrification method. Research methods - cryobiological, morphometric, light microscopy, fluorescence microscopy, statistical analysis. Theoretical and practical results. Methods of cryopreservation of human preimplantation embryos have been developed by the method of vitrification, taking into account their initial morphofunctional characteristics. Vitrification of human sperm with sucrose and PVP in various combinations is promising for clinical use, as it allows to maintain the morphofunctional state of sperm at the level of native cells. Sperm for oocyte fertilization can be used immediately after heating and without removing the cryoprotectant. The permeability coefficients of carp, sperm and pike spermatozoa membranes to water molecules and cryoprotectants were determined. It has been established that modification of carp sperm membranes by amixin and phenibut leads to changes of membrane permeability to water molecules.
