Modern asymptotic, approximate and numerical methods of the theory of dynamical systems, experimental methods for analyzing forced nonlinear oscillations of rods with cracks were used as research methods. Models of nonlinear oscillations of shell and rod structures under geometrically nonlinear deformation taking into account transverse breathing cracks have been developed. Oscillations are excited as a result of the action of periodic forces and the interaction of structures with gas flows. To study periodic oscillations and their bifurcations, the asymptotic method of many scales, the approximate method of harmonic balance, and the numerical false position method in combination with the algorithm of continuance were used. Periodic oscillations, their stability and bifurcations in shell and rod structures are studied. The combination resonance during oscillations of a rod with a transverse crack is considered.
