The research was conducted by request of China Talent and Technology Co (CTTC Co Ltd.) in the interests of the Beijing Institute of Space Mechanics and Electronics (BISME). The performer is the Scientific Center for Aerospace Research of the Earth (CASRE) IGS NAS of Ukraine. The information part of the report consists of an introduction, 3 sections, 8 subsections, conclusions, and a list of references. The main result of the research is a specialized software module for estimation of the subpixel shift between satellite images pairs. The module provides automatic estimation of the mutual subpixel shift of a pair of digital satellite images using a correlation processing algorithm using the spatial frequency domain. The module is developed using modern computer technology. SM was tested on a statistically representative sample of pairs of test satellite images and demonstrated acceptable accuracy in determining subpixel shift.
