Objects of studies – the physical phenomena induced by the electron transitions at the electron interaction with the substance in the gas phase and the surface-condensed state. The goal of the work: modernizing the experimental apparatus and developing the methodological aspects of studying the spectroscopic parameters of elementary processes initiated by the electron transitions at the electron interaction with biological molecules of valine, glutamine and glutamine acid, as well as with the cadmium and indium ions, i.e. investigating the effect of high-energy electrons and gamma-quanta impact on the valine and glutamine molecules; studying the optical properties of the CdSe nanocrystals and obtaining their fundamental both qualitative and quantitative characteristics. The following have been studied: the mass spectra of the valine and glutamine molecules in the process of the controlled-energy electron ionization; ionization and dissociative ionization functions for the above molecules; the glutamine molecule emission spectra within the 270 550 nm spectral range excited by the 10–50 eV electrons; the influence of the high-energy electron and gamma[quanta irradiation on the above molecules; the radiative transitions from the autoionizing states produced as a result of the electron excitation from the subvalence d10 shell in the process of dielectron recombination of the cadmium and indium ions; the optical absorption, photoluminescence and Raman scattering spectra for the CdSe nanocrystals imbedded into the polymer matrices The modern software GAUSSIAN and GAMESS complexes have been tested in the theoretical calculations of the internal structure and dynamics of the characteristics of the above molecules and their fragments.
