The hydroecological characteristics of the Steblivsky reservoir based on the study of key indicator groups of hydrobionts (phytoplankton, zooplankton, bottom macroinvertebrates), hydrochemical regime parameters (oxygen content, pH, content of biogenic elements, etc.) are presented. Recommendations are proposed to improve the hydro-ecological state of the reservoir in order to minimize the negative impact on the ecosystem of the Ros' River in the lower dam area.
