The object of study is the risk of spreading Teschen disease of pigs. The aim of the study is to validate the technical approaches and practical recommendations to improve the assessment of risk and prognosis of Teschen disease of pigs in Ukraine. Theoretical and methodological basis of the study are the fundamental work of leading researchers in the field of epizootology and virology, the legislative acts of Ukraine, regulating the anti-epizootic measures. The study used the following methods: analysis, synthesis and scientific abstraction (in the refinement of basic anti-epizootic categories of scientific research), comparative and statistical analyzes (for an analytical evaluation of the definition of the current trends and patterns of providing of anti-epizootic well-being), methods, graphics, correlation regression analysis (identification of influence factors on the mechanism of the risk and prognosis of spreading of epizooty), settlement and regulatory (in the justification of the pricing mechanism for anti-epizootic measures), a logic synthesis method (in the properties of the formation and implementation of the mechanism of the risk and prognosis of spreading of epizooty). The value of these results is the justification of the theoretical aspects of development of the epizootic well-being in Ukraine on the basis of innovation, evaluation of its current status and identify factors that affect the its security in Ukraine. The proposed conceptual approaches and model of the formation of assessment of the risk and prognosis of epizootic spread contribute to ensuring epizootic well-being in Ukraine. Improved methodical approach to the formation of the assessment of risk and prognosis of Teschen disease of pigs, which is a combination of analysis of epizootic data, analysis of the pharmaceutical market for immunological agents and improvement of the diagnosis of Teschen disease.
