Adapting the research technique for the properties of carbonaceous organic matter and features of the atom-molecular structure of coal were carried out. The analysis of geological, geomechanical and sorption-filtration factors affecting the safety of mining operations while developing gas, emissions and fire-hazardous layers were conducted. The next step forward in the theory of connected geomechanical processes was obtained by developing a mathematical model throughout the connected geomechanical and filtration processes.
