The researchers reached the level of theoretically substantiated methodological recommendations for the analysis of actual problems of spatial development of European countries and Ukraine. Actual conceptualizations of social justice and human development policies that enable the development of new and improvement of existing national spatial development strategies are explored. The influence of current transformations at the global level on the spatial development and the traceable connection between them and the value-semantic principles of modern state-making processes are analyzed. Prospects for renewal of democratic policy by improving state policies of spatial development by enhancing the socio-humanitarian component of the latter and taking into account new approaches to social justice and human development are outlined.
