The purpose of the work is to improve the accuracy of the control of the concentration of combustion products of boiler equipment by opto-electronic method by compensating for the influence of non-informative factors based on the use of structural-algorithmic redundancy. Methods of research - methods of switching-modulation transformations were used to solve the set tasks in order to minimize errors of measurement of the concentration of components of combustion products of boiler equipment, structural-algorithmic methods of increasing the accuracy of measurements and general theory of propagation of optical radiation in multicomponent media. The paper provides an analytical review of existing methods of measuring the concentration of combustion products for different types of boilers, and justifies the choice of the basic research method. The main factors that influence the accuracy of measurement are considered and analyzed. A method is proposed to reduce the measurement error caused by contamination of the measuring channel with dust and soot. The structure of the device that implements the proposed method and the algorithm of its operation is developed.
