Methods of physical and numerical experiment determined the main processes occurring in the melt of the AK7 alloy with a high content of Fe up to 3% under the conditions in the metal system electric current treatment . Numerical modeling using finite element methods, integral equations, and splitting of massive conductors into elementary cells allowed to receive 2D and 3D configurations of the electric, magnetic, thermal and force fields arising at the micro and macro levels in the melt under the electric current action and changing its crystallization ability. Optimal treatment parameters to ensure the formation of branched or compact phases of Al15 (Fe, Mn) 3Si2 and Al8Fe2Si during the subsequent crystallization instead of harmful needle inclusions of FeSiAl5 have been established . Due to this, the tensile strength of the iron-contaminated alloy increases by almost 25%, even exceeding the tensile strength characteristics which determined by the AK7 standard.
